Tuna pasta

It's time for a quick dinner recipe.
Itt took me about 30 minutes to put together.
Pretty simple to make but the taste is amazing.

 Tuna pasta

Some facts:
My rating: 9/10
Prep time:  5 minutes
Cook time: 25 minutes
Total time:  30 minutes
Yield: 3 portions of sauce

Ingredients
  • 1 can tuna in oil (shredded tuna)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 packet powdered spaghetti sauce  or 5-6 tbs tomato paste
  • 2-3 tbs butter
  • sugar
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • oregano (optional)
Cooking instructions

Finelly chop onions and garlic.

Open the can of tuna a little bit. Drizzle the oil from the can on the frying pan.

Heat the pan and add onions.

Fry onion on low heat for 7-9 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 3 more minutes.

Add tuna and fry on medium heat.

Prepare spaghetti sauce as it says on the package or mix tomato paste with oregano, a bit of water and sugar and spices to taste.

Add tomato sauce to the pan.

Let everything cook together for about 10-15 minutes.

While the sauce is cooking, boil water.

Cook pasta, drain and add 2-3 tbs of butter.

Serve with some aromatic cheese grated on top.

Cheers!

Have a nice day!
